Yeah I am annoyed with Comey, but I am also annoyed with Democrats for nominating him

and I am annoyed that Democrats often nominate Republicans in national security positions (defense secretaries etc.), fueling the notion that Dems cannot protect the country.

Just sayin'. Maybe next time, appoint qualified Democrats.

But yeah, Comey's move was extremely careless and the FBI putting a thumb on the scale of democracy is complete BULLSHIT.

Seems like violating FBI procedure twice and acting alone, going against the directives of the justice department would seem like adequate cause.

Democrats nominating republican IMO is stupidity. That being said, I love Obama and most democrats and am not tossing anyone under any bus.

And I didn't do this to kick my thread. when i create threads that I believe deserve more attention, i kick them by using the actual word 'kick".

The GOP has been running on an agenda to shut the federal government down for decades. Well, except for the part of the government that writes checks for their military-industrial buddies.

I'd say that Obama should have appointed a Democrat. By that time, he should've known that the GOP wasn't interested in working with him.

However, Comey isn't an elected official. I couldn't find any reason why he can't be fired by the next President.

For having that stupid tarmac meeting with Loretta Lynch shortly before the FBI announced its decision not to charge Hillary. I think it's pretty obvious that the FBI was going to clear her anyway and that if Bill were trying to influence it he would have been a lot more discreet, but he should have had better judgment. Because it became a controversy, Lynch had to remove herself from the decision and cede the power to Comey, and that may be why she was unable or unwilling to stop Comey from sending that letter. What on earth was Bill Clinton thinking going to meet with her inside the plane in July, outside the ear of reporters but with them standing right outside?

I am fucking SICK of Dems thinking they ALWAYS have to be bipartisan. I don't want to see ANY kowtowing to the Repukes this time around.

been saying it for years.

There are DEMOCRATS that know about defense, policing and ESPECIALLY finance. For gawd's sake put them in charge and quit perpetuating the myth that Dems are weak in these areas.

It just crushes me when I see a Dem president nominate even a so-called moderate right for the SCOTUS. There are Democrats, people that believe in humanity, who can fill every position in the federal government.
