I'm kicking Mika and Joe to the curb...need a tolerable replacement...

On occasion I watch about an hour of Joe and Mika. While they get on my nerves, it doesn't bother me much. It's no secret they're pure partisan hacks despite Mika saying that she is voting for Hillary(I think she's lying about that).

This morning...I got pissed.

They were talking with Harold Ford, Jr. Ford was making the point that it's not uncommon to like someone a lot one day and then when they do something inexplicable, criticize them.

Both Joe and Mika hit back at him hard over that. Harold was doing his best, IMO, to keep the conversation grounded. He brought up the fact that Trump has accused Comey of covering for Hillary along with the talk of rigged elections.

Joe and Mika weren't having any of it. They really tore into the guy.

I've watched both Joe and Mika rightly criticize Trump, even though they rolled out the red carpet for him during the primaries. There were times they called it right.

Looking back on that I've now realized that they do it in a calm manner and not get over emotional.

This morning is the second time I've seen Joe and Mika damn near come unglued when someone's observations counter theirs.

I don't expect a lot of objective observations from them, but to see the two come uncorked like this is bothersome. Thing is, I like a lot of the guests they bring on the show.

I feel fairly confident Hillary will win and even though I like some morning politics with my breakfast, I'm just gonna have to quit them. After the election, with a new president, I'm pretty sure I won't be able to tolerate them at all.

I can't stand Stephanie Ruhle.

I really miss Jose Diaz Balart. He made my mornings.

Any suggestions for morning news/political shows?

that is what happened when I turned to them after Morning j went crazy as was described

I have not watched enough to know how dependable this show is. I could not stand it this morning because of the horrible trump person.

I agreed with text above. Mika has gone crazy. Maybe she isn't a democrat

Are these a couple?

The only one I don't much care for is Wolf Blitzer...and immediately after a story negative to Clinton breaks they DO report it without a bias one way or the other, so that can annoy you. Other than that, CNN is actually great coverage.

Inane and irritating, and irritatingly inane, at best. Those include almost all daytime cable, although I also miss being able to tune in to Jose Diaz Balart.

I read the news in the morning, but I confess for viewing I do like to finish and sometimes start the day with recorded evening shows like Maddow, O'Donnell, Zakaria. Stories and interviews with people with expertise rather than spinners and flat-out liars trying to sucker the viewers. Yes, all satisfyingly friendly , but I try to make up for that in reading.

I left for work. I think Ford was making a great point and they - Mika especially this time, looked at him like he just said some terrible profanity at her. I couldn't believe her response.

I will watch sometimes despite them. Oh how I wish they just had a show like it without them. They have some useful guests.

But Brazile got caught doing something super shady that showed bias. CNN is extremely serious about NOT being biased one way or the other and reporting as fairly as possible. What Brazile did was a really big deal as a result.

Trump's surrogates are on all networks and they are all nasty. If you want to avoid them then you just need to turn off the TV right now, lol.

Perhaps they should give her Chris Matthews spot as he has gotten really crazy too. I can hardly listen to him. He argues and interrupts all his guests. He has gotten out of control

He gets it more right than wrong a lot of times. He does have a habit of not challenging many of Trump's surrogates when he should. Sometimes Chuck Todd does a better job than Chris.

He's still ten times better than Mika and Joe.

They at least presented multiple sides instead of just cutting off all clinton supporters before they can complete a full sentence.

Joe cannot stand for someone to openly disagree with him and he cuts them off immediately when they are in the middle of making a point. that, or he will interrupt to make a joke out of something that was said and then everyone at the table has to put in their two cents on his stupid joke, so the person who was interrupted never gets to finish their point.

he interrupts every black guest except for Al Sharpton. I think he knows he can't compete with him. Harold Ford, Jonathon Capehart, Eugene Robinson and Joy Reid all have to talk REALLY fast since they know they will be interrupted. Chris Matthews interrupts the same people, just like Joe.

I've seen him go after people he doesn't like and he is merciless. There was a black journalist who moved from CNN to MSNBC and Joe just tore him apart. The look on the guy's face was one of disbelief. I can't remember his name now. He had a morning slot for a short time, but I haven't seen him in a long time. I really liked him.

Charlie has complete control of every interview, even the horrible Kelly woman. He will stop her every time she goes into Trump speak and softly say, stay in the question....she does back down. They cover more stories than just politics and they are interesting. The interplay between them is interesting and brings out the best of each of them.

Plus CNN has better reporting and their hosts provide better and more objective content.
