So George W Bush voted for Hillary

For all his flaws and they were manifest he never showed contempt for democratic norms, the rule of law, the sanctity of the ballot, and due process. These are the features that make us unique and not some big piece of real estate! In the absence of these features we are lost and irretrievably so.

From warrantless wiretaps to Gitmo, he did a lot to increase the power of an Imperial Presidency. Not to mention his flagrant use of torture by just defining it as not torture.

But Trump is in a whole different class....

Somehow his admitted speculation got into the news instead of the National Inquirer.

For all his very many weaknesses, Dubya thought of himself as a statesman and knows Trump is not.

Never thought I would write or say ANYTHING even vaguely favorable about GWB, but as you said--tRump's craziness & nasty disposition make him worse.

We call him "Rocco" because of his striking resemblance to every mob thug in every noir movie ever made.

Hi! I respect your opinion that it's cool he apparently voted for her, but, I will only praise him if he publicly come out and announce as a few other Republicans like Powell did. Surely, his brother told him Trump's a complete idiot and dangerous person to be president (if W had no intellectual curiosity to care about Trump). And, I think Jeb should put out a statement that she's the only major candidate fit for the presidency that's left. Then again, maybe he asked through political channels, and she said, no thanks! LOL

Gitmo, "With us or against us," "the smoking gun will be a mushroom cloud," DICK CHENEY, Ashcroft, Rice, Ari Fleischer warning Americans to "watch what they say, watch what they do," John Ashcroft and Alberto Gonzales as Atty Generals, John Roberts and Samuel Alito appointed to SCOTUS, the Patriot Act, lack of response to Hurricane Katrina...and that's just a (very) partial "greatest-hits" list.

2001-2008 were some of the darkest days in American history. Every day brought some staggeringly insane new and terrible development. Bush's inner circle was composed of some of the most toxic right-wing ideologues to hold appointments.

I'm sure Bush is a "regular guy" in many regards ("Now, watch this drive!&quot , but nothing will alter the feelings of deep anger and depression so many experienced during his two very long terms in office.
