2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumDoes Melanoma's plan to end cyberbullying not strike anyone else of censorship?
Not that bullying is ok in any way, but the first thing I thought of was who would be in charge of deciding what was too mean to say? Certainly not her husband... BUT, he is the one that wants to stop anyone that says anything against him, even if it's true. I can see him opening up the libel laws like he says he will do to the point we can't discuss him at all without fear of him having us arrested. He would probably have me arrested for making fun of the way she says "muh usband" and "cheeel-drun".

If god forbid she became First Lady, the contrast between her and the supremely accomplished and wonderful Michelle would be nauseating.
So when she talks about cyber-bullying, apart from the galling hypocrisy, I doubt she'll have the interest or time in between face lifts to concern herself with it.

(22,651 posts)when she is ALONE with her husband.
We do know what has happened to other people when they are ALONE with her husband. I'm positive Mrs. Trump knows her husband is a 'bully' and has heard his abusive words first hand. A woman gains a pound or two around that man and he is well known to attack and fat shame.
I think her speech was about her husbands words, its the best she could do with a husband like trump. He's not very smart, he would think the speech is about kid bullies.
I also think she voted for Hillary & even straight party D, although she would fear even mentioning that to her husband.
