The collusion of the Trump campaign with the vehement Hillary-haters in the FBI is a terrifying truth we have learned thanks to the big mouths of some of his surrogates, like Rudy Giuliani. It certainly appears that the FBI isn't the only three letter organization that will sink to any depth to get this Orange horror show elected. I would be remiss if I were to forget the enthusiastic endorsement of the KKK as well.
To make matters worse, it's not just people in America who want to make a horrific, dangerous and unqualified Commander in Chief possible; Hillary has to contend with the Russian intelligence services. The Russians have been devoting their efforts to stopping Hillary Clinton and trying their damnedest to install "I'm not a Putin puppet," Donald Trump as the next POTUS.
The mid-term strategy of Rep. Ellmers' Democratic opponent in 2014, Clay Aiken, certainly backfired and ended his Congressional bid. His mistake was to distance himself from President Obama, whose popularity is currently soaring. Hope that lesson was learned! The President is on fire lately doing his absolute best to stump for Hillary Clinton.

We really need to remember, though, that the vicious right-wing Hillary haters are no more typical of the FBI than they are of the general population.
Yes, Trump this close to the presidency is unnerving, but what terrifies me is that we might not get the Senate. We need to restore a certain comfort level and confidence in the future, and currently the Democrats are the only ones who can and will do that.

Amazingly, yes. After aggregating polls to get rid of variation that does not reflect real changes in opinion, the end result is that the national margin between Clinton and Trump has stayed within a five-point range, from Clinton ahead by two to seven points. That's about the smallest range that has ever been measured. I see it as a testament to the inflexibility of voters.

I have some interviews this weekend. I doubt that I will be asked about median-based probability estimation. With luck I will get to the question where theres real suspense: who will control the Senate?
