Trump's Base...
I'd like to share some thoughts about Trump's precious base. Many of these folks don't usually vote. They show up at Trump's rallies looking like they got dragged out from under a bed and they are not there to participate in democracy...they are there for the red meat spectacle. They'd be at a dog fight if there wasn't a Trump rally to entertain them. I've observed these folks over the years here in New Hampshire. They generally don't vote unless they are dragged to the polls.
I live in a fairly rural area in New Hampshire - 3 miles down a dirt road with a 1/4 mile narrow dirt driveway to my home. If I were a canvasser, I wouldn't come here. In this last month I have had 3 separate visits from Clinton canvassers. They ask me if I'm registered, if I know where my polling place is and if I need a ride to the polls. I have not heard of anyone who has been visited by Trump canvassers.
In short, Trump has no ground game and he is relying on a base that needs a very strong GOTV push. Adding to this is the fact that Trump really did nothing to attract voters outside of his base because he liked the adulation he got at his red meat rallies too much. Trump's whole campaign has been one of political masterbation.
