Essence of Trump campaign

After watching his surrogates (Gingrich, Conway, etc.) this morning, I am reminded the essence of der Fuhrer's campaign is:

I KNOW I AM BUT SO ARE YOU.

I guess we will see how well this works on Tuesday.

Does anyone ever take him seriously. I do not understand it but it seems that republicans are at risk for becoming more radicalized as they age. He and Giuliani are prime examples of this. Does he not know that he is now a pathetic joke and I do not understand why NBC would consider giving him airtime just before an important election.
