3. The "fake assassination thing" wasn't staged;

it was just some guy who got roughed up for having the gall to hold up a "Republicans Against Trump" sign; some asshole in the crowd yelled "Gun!" even though there wasn't one; and the Secret Service, in accordance with their normal procedures, hustled Trump off the stage. The protester wasn't arrested; the building wasn't cleared; and Trump came back and finished his speech. A staged assassination attempt wouldn't have gone down like that - for one thing, a fake protester would have been black, Hispanic or middle-eastern looking, not a white Republican. Trump's campaign tried to spin it as an assassination attempt but it was nothing of the kind, fake or real. The FBI certainly had nothing to do with it.
