On Nate Silver....

....like any good entrepreneur he's trying to protect his brand and hedging his bets. If the perception is his product is flawed, he loses everything he's built.

If anything he should be one of the loudest voices saying, "Fuck Trump."

I'm sure he's under huge pressure to generate clicks. It doesn't excuse some of the questionable decisions he's made, but it does help explain them.
