2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI have one bottle of dry, sparkling California wine getting its chill on
And I'm thinking I might also need to buy a bottle of Barefoot Bubbly, which I love. I can use that to toast, and then I will have the other bottle for Mimosas, Wednesday morning.
Conversely, I do have a bottle of Old Overholt, should things go amiss.

(26,260 posts)When my Dad asked my Grandfather for Mom's hand in marriage, Grandpa poured out a glass of Old Overholt and sat it down next to a very hot chili pepper. And then he stared at Dad, who quickly figure out what he had to do, to be approved. So he chomped down the pepper and downed the Old Overholt. Apparently, he passed the test.

(26,260 posts)There's a lovely bottle of an Italian sparkling rose, waiting to be opened, too. I used my last bottle of Barefoot Bubbly to toast my niece's engagement.

First time my husband and I have smiled in days. First time I've eaten much too for that matter.
Comey can kick rocks.
