That IBD poll that shows Trump ahead today, yep, you guessed it, they sampled more Rs than Ds

"Party identification breakdown Unweighted) 328 Democrats/361 Republicans/314 Independents; (Weighted) 319/322/344. Results in table above are based on weighted sample."

Even after weighing they over-sampled Republicans. Of course Trump is ahead if you do that.

That is not going to be the sample that shows up on election day, however.

That still indicates a virtual tie.

But I suspect most of those that call themselves "independents" are also Republican voters. I think a lot Republican voters call themselves independents because they think its even more Republican to do that than being an actual Republican.

How the hell did you come to that conclusion?

I said this national poll, which I agree doesn't reflect the Electoral College totals, indicates a virtual tie nationally. That is cause to encourage folks not to take this election lightly and assume Hillary has it in the bag. That was my purpose.

Some on here think we should all be hosting victory parties tonight already, or last week even. That if you are concerned with a negative poll you are a troll. My post was simply an observation and call to arms to make sure everyone you know votes.
