2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumCheers and applause for my first time voter daughter this morning!
We walked to our polling place at 730 am, not much of a line so we only waited about 15 minutes. When my daughter presented her voter card the poll worker announced "we have a first time voter here" which gave way to cheers and applause by everyone there.
What a wonderful and positive experience for her and both of us, as we cast our votes for Hillary Clinton, the next President of the United States!!

She was a Bernie supporter but was happy to vote for Hillary too.

So proud of her voting for Hillary (had to do it absentee, she's in college).

We should all celebrate new voters! They're the future.
