I'm sorry, but fuck coming together. Being tolerant and polite and cooperative has brought us here.

It is time to call out lies, prejudice, and hate EVERY time we see it. We have given people the benefit of the doubt for too long; have assumed that they mean well, or that their hearts are in the right place. We have let the other side build a massive disinformation network, and have allowed them to dictate the dialogue. We let them turn us against ourselves.

We cannot win playing their game by their rules. We have to challenge every assertion.

I heard a football commentator speak about one of the teams "defending every blade of grass." That is the stance we have to take from here on out. There are no disposable issues. Defend every blade of grass.
