Margot Gerster's photo of Hillary hiking made me feel better

And the reason it made me feel better is because it healed a little bit of the pain in my heart seeing Hillary's beautiful smile, and seeing that it reached her eyes. She does what I do when I need to heal, I get out in nature and I walk, or I did when I still could.

And seeing that photo reminded me that Hillary is free now.

She is free to use her incredible talent, and connections, to take the immense resources of the Clinton Foundation and make changes in the lives of people anywhere in the world she chooses.

She doesn't have to babysit, cajole, or prod public servants to do what is right.

She doesn't have to ask permission from members who have turned their backs on the people they are supposed to serve.

She is free to move mountains and I will be on her side as she does exactly that.

From Margot's FB page:
"Ive been feeling so heartbroken since yesterday's election and decided what better way to relax than take my girls hiking. So I decided to take them to one of favorite places in Chappaqua. We were the only ones there and it was so beautiful and relaxing. As we were leaving, I heard a bit of rustling coming towards me and as I stepped into the clearing there she was, Hillary Clinton and Bill with their dogs doing exactly the same thing as I was. I got to hug her and talk to her and tell her that one of my most proudest moments as a mother was taking Phoebe with me to vote for her. She hugged me and thanked me and we exchanged some sweet pleasantries and then I let them continue their walk. Now, I'm not one for signs but I think ill definitely take this one. So proud. #iamstillwithher #lovetrumpshate #keepfighting #lightfollowsdarkness"

I am sorry to hear that she has been getting hate and threats over it. Some people make me so sick.

Absolutely insane. And the threats are just pure evil.

not directly on this but it sure fits:
(paraphrasing) 'Donald Trump is head of the white people now. Can't he make them stop this stuff?'

And also a young mother...frightening of course that she is getting threats...

What was a wonderfully poignant moment has become a sad comment on what Trump has created.

Hoping Hillary stays engaged and keeps fighting...we will forever have her back...

The fact that some have taken it and twisted it into attacks make me sick. I hope the harassment ends soon...
