Strangely, that was my first thought when the results were announced.
I do believe there would have been riots and bloodshed. They wore shirts calling for her death. She would have had a true bullseye on her for the next four years.
Life has twists and turns and this story has just begun, but at least now she will be physically safe.

(3,290 posts)Comey did his job well as I m sure he was bid to do. What a filthy wretch of a citizen of this country he turned out to be in using his power of office to influence an election affecting millions of people.. That will be his legacy.

But yes, I have to agree her life would have been under constant threat more than any other president.

(14,487 posts)so they can't blame it on her/us. But I am very sad about how many people will be hurt by GOP policies - or even die when their healthcare is taken away or when emboldened bullies attack.
