Quit griping about Obama caving in with Medicare and Social Security.

And call your U.S. Representative and U.S. Senators

Tell your family, friends, neighbors, etc and push them to call too.

Call the White House and make sure he hears your voice.

Please contact them anyway-especially if they are repugnants- so they can't say that all of the constituents support them. They have lied and said this before, so your contact or attempted contact with them or their office opposing their actions, will prove otherwise. And it will be documented in writing- forever since anything that is put in writing-online, meaning out in the universe, will be recorded permanently.

accountable. Pick up the phone. Call the White House hotline. Make your voice heard, not just your words seen on a blog or message forum.

This is what happened 4 years ago. The tea party mobilized while the left went home.

I think you are trying to voice your opinion to the wrong entity. The President already knows what those who voted for him wants-so you don't need to try to convince him of anything.

As some members of DU have stated previously, you need to vocalize to your Congress-not the PRESIDENT!

Whatever it takes to let Pres. Obama and Democrats (Repuglicans, too, for that matter) in Congress know that sticking it to middle class seniors is unacceptable.

Because that would be the end of the dialogue.

The dialogue, and the public pushback is coming because people are speaking- not just here, but other places and out in the world.

Gripe f***ing louder, I say- the Deepwater Horizon disaster might not have happened had more people screamed when Obama said we were going to keep doing a Bush.

...Or maybe not, and we're wasting our breath?

It would be different if they actually read these forums, but most of them probably don't even know about it except Grayson.

trust him on this since he didn't sign that letter a group of Democrats sent to Obama a couple of weeks ago asking him to protect SS.

But I got an email from the Progressive Change Committee a little while ago saying that after Gerry heard from his constituents, he took a bold stance against Obama's cuts. It's too late to call his office to find out if it's true or not but I plan to call tomorrow.

And you are correct! I have been saying the same thing for the last 2 days. Contact your congressmen/congresswomen who are responsible for INITIATING and voting on all bills!

Thank you for reminding people that they do have congressman/congresswomen who are beholding to them -and hired to represent them!
