The " Cliff " vote is being controlled IMO by the 1 %

The Rethugs are trying their best to say it is the view
of the " more conservative members of their party that don't want to make a deal." Leaving the impression that they are speaking about the
" TeaBaggers."

WRONG! Most of the TeaBaggers ....exception for Judge Thomas and his wife etc.) are not RICH.

They may be crazy to be Rethugs but they know what not having a dime to rub against a quarter looks like -- they may be on food stamps and they sure need their Social Security.

The sticking point that I have heard in the last hour is that the Rethugs are not going for the " tax on the 1%."

Did anyone else hear it another way?

Why is that important, it's because the 1 % is Running the Show! They are funding all the Congress members campaigns and giving them money under the table and over the table.

What a wonderful New Year it would be to have the Rethugs stop kissing up to the 1% and kiss up to America.

when I heard that CONGRESS was getting a pay raise --- I had to take my Blood Pressure Pill early.

Think it was Joe Johns that said it.

mean something else. They have kept this drum beat up about cutting entitlements. Spending like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. I think cutting those might mean more to the top percent than raising taxes by a few points. If they can get rid of those programs, it would be a big wind fall for the Top percent. Wall Street has been after those programs for years. The more they chip away, the more those programs will disappear. The most people I see complaining about these programs are the very wealthy. They seem to want to make the American people peasants.

I have a friend that is in the "1 %."

He was almost at the point of tears when OBAMA won.

He had been telling everyone that "nobody better try to mess with a dime of my money- not a DIME!"

Have any real Teabaggers said anything about wanting to give to the 1 % ?

I am still waiting to hear them say it.
