And then just went downhill from there.

At first I wondered who one would have voted for, then realized they are likely in the uk, from the CT/Woo blogspot.uk by the same name.

Lots of interesting stuff in those links.

Happy New Year!

As if the various haters were stunned into immobility by having gotten their asses kicked yet again.

Then of course they regrouped as they always do and they're out in force again today.

They're harmless, ultimately. Powerless ranting.

before they could start trolling again. Maybe they even had to wait for DUers to analyze what had happened so they could understand it.

I must confess I do that sometimes. If I'm in doubt as to what has happened I come straight to DU.

The actual event doesn't matter. Anything can be shoehorned into their little fantasy narrative.

...which the majority party in the house more or less swore not to do. You can make it sound easy by portraying them as petty fools who couldn't negotiate their way out of a paper sack, but on the other hand they've shown no interest in years in actual government. Stupidity, stubbornness, and contempt for the opinions of others can combine into a pretty crippling political weapon.

In any case - Obama finally made them look like fools and swept their whole platform out from under them. Spin it however makes you feel good, though, there's more to come in two months time.

it's always funny when they arrive all at once pretending to be so "concerned" about how bad Obama looks. You'd think they would figure out that to blend in they should at least try to join a little bit more than a day or two apart.

They have two right brains trying to boss their two right feet around without much success. They think they're swaggering. It's pitiful.

to be sure. Lots of finger pointing and you voted for the communist from kenya (paraphrased). I kept my head down and left shortly after. The dude was loud and belligerent and obnoxious and certain of his being right.

It is a crime to be intimidated in a public place because of your political beliefs.

Call the cops to the scene next time and let THEM sort it out. This yahoo could be guilty--depending on just what he does and how far he goes--of anything from harassment to assault and intimidation (menacing action w/o battery) to disturbing the peace (a catch-all charge).

It disgusts and angers me to think of anyone getting treated in such a fashion because of the way they voted. (Though I know very well whereof you speak.)

If the police locked up every loud, belligerent, obnoxious right winger in my town, there would only be a a few dozen of us left to run things.

Blues for a Red state.

Heh-heh! It's a start . . .

PS. But seriously, I've seen these kinds of episodes escalate into shouting, then shoving, then all-out public punching matches--sometimes with children present. Given the fact that the most belligerent and confrontational amongst us now seem to feel that they have a God-given right to swagger around armed to the teeth, ready to "stand their ground" at a moment's notice (a liberal's rolled eyes; a progressive's exasperated sigh) --I don't think my advice was all that out of line. Sadly.

know they are 100% right because Rush, Glenn, Drudge and Jones told them what to think. I would bet this person has a very low IQ, which is common among the "commie" criers. Next time this happens, peacefully tell them that they can too run for President if they wish to, or they may start a petition, just like the other 500,000 that are started daily from mobile homes and doomsday bunkers across the country to "Get the Commie Socialist Muslim out of the "white" house"
