Scarborough on Republicans winning House majority: ‘It was just gerrymandering’

Conservative MSNBC host Joe Scarborough on Sunday warned Republicans that fringe elements were causing the party to shrink and it was “just gerrymandering” that allowed the GOP to keep control of the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2012 elections.

A Republican State Leadership Committee report released earlier this month acknowledged that a “Strategy of Targeting State Legislative Races in 2010 Led to a Republican U.S. House Majority in 2013.”

On Sunday, Scarborough pointed to this as evidence that the Republican Party needed to become more inclusive.

Scarborough Showed America and the world what America is really like! Scarborough’s admitting that Gerrymandering to steal votes to win elections has very deep and profound devastating implications for the Republican Party. It has been going on for a really long time. This Gerrymandering likely could have been covered up by mainstream media for decades.

It’s not just elections. Just last night Book TV C-Span had the Senator from Oklahoma on in a discussion about the deficit. A new deficit number was pitched out, now the new deficit level of barrowed corruption money is topping eighty eight trillion dollars, per the Senator from Oklahoma. Get this most of the Congress don’t even read legislation they vote on. You who, you out there America, did you get that? The Congress most likely does not read the stuff they vote on. Imagine decades of gerrymandered legislation. The kicker is they don’t even know the corruption they did. Total negligence.

Of course all the big shots want to get rid of the tax code because legislation is so tied to the tax code and gerrymandered for the corporate Congress. These are not loopholes in the tax code. My god America, Congress built a highway straight through the tax code to create an eighty eight trillion dollar deficit.

These corporate creeps are sitting on this money wondering what to do next. Isn’t that a laugh, these Congress people vote on something they don’t even read and it likely is pure corruption.

...when you once again, for the 4000th time, go on a tirade about how Prez. Obama doesn't have a mandate because the house is still Republican and THEY have a mandate too.

Ass.

I think Republicans are going to try to change how presidential electors are chosen, especially in states like Michigan, where the state house, senate, and governor are all Republican, but the state voted Democratic.

If those states move from a Winner-take-all elector selection, that'll throw a bunch of "free" votes to the Republican presidential candidate.

Governor Snyder (with his partners Koch / Norquist) might try this before Nov 2016. Snyder's been running the table with teabagger legislation.
