Santorum to resume campaigning Tuesday after daughter’s hospitalization

(CNN) – GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum will take a break from the campaign trail Monday as his 3-year-old daughter remains hospitalized, his campaign announced Saturday.

"Senator Santorum will not hold any public campaign events on Monday so that he and Karen can remain in the hospital with their daughter Bella," communications director Hogan Gidley said in a statement. "The entire Santorum family is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of prayers and support."

and as far as I can tell the family has been very devoted to this child. I think he cares a great deal for his children - my problem with him is that he doesn't seem to care much about other people's children.

I feel even worse for all of the kids who were born with incurable diseases whose parents can't afford the very best in health care.

I feel even worse for the poor kid being saddled with the name of a character in "Twilight".

Why isn't he taking her to a church to be healed, or accepting that her disease is "G*d's Will"?
