Ive hunted big game before. Stalking prey on the grasslands of Africa and hacking through the jungles of South America is old hat as far as Im concerned. It was a hobby I picked up shortly after being involved in what the authorities called an embezzlement scheme, but which I categorized as a reapportionment of resources.

He represented the State of New York in the Senate, and his name was Jacob Javits.
My dad was a journalist for a small town newspaper in upstate NY, and they were
friends for decades, even though my dad was a confirmed Democrat. I never knew
him well at all, but my dad had a lot of respect for him, and I had a lot of respect
for my dad's judgement.
Like the OP implied--now an extinct species.
