The Senate is now voting to move the Hagel nomination forward. He needs 60 votes...

and looks like he'll get way more than he needs for cloture. McCain, Graham, and Ayotte, the new Three Amigos, all voted "aye" this time. After this all he'll need is 51, so he'll very shortly be the new SoD! Finally, Panetta will be able to leave.

6. McCain is too cranky to be an "amigo." But he is an "ego" as are the other two.
