Six Months Ago...

Can you believe it has been six months (half a year) since we celebrated President Obama's re-election? Oh, what a wonderful night that was! After years of the tea party and the right wing throwing everything they had at us, we survived and showed them that they are a minority and are NOT in control of our great country.

The most valuable lesson we learned last Nov. 6 is this: as long as we liberals get out and vote, we cannot be defeated.

They couldn't believe they'd lost to the man they believe is a Kenyan-born Muslim, raised and mentored by communists, who has a weird name and isn't a "real American."

Faux News had its viewers convinced that Romney was going to win (shit, Romney didn't even have a concession speech prepared just in case!) and when their fantasy world collided with the real world, they were shellshocked.

3. I found the best thing was in 2008, the tears in Jesse Jackson's eyes celebrating in Chicago.

and the very best will be in 2016 celebrating Hillary's victory

2014 is the other sides final stand, and no matter what happens in 2014, imho, 2016 will be a democratic landslide everywhere
