Chris Mathews does not need a reson to foam in the mouth

but yesterday and today he outdid himself.

He actually had a tea lady who, while complaining about extra scrutiny from the IRS, could not be pinned down to what her organization was going to promote or oppose during the elections.

But Matthews wants heads to roll. Without first investigating? Has he forgotten Shirley Sherrod who was fired during a cell phone call because of flimsy, inaccurate smears?

Anyone in their right mind should be able to see that "any" group using the tea party name, or patriots name in their application would be questioned about their "political" intentions. It also seems like there over 200 other organizations that were also being investigated, who where they? Why is it that only the tea party groups are complaining?

Now I will admit that if ONLY those groups, tea party types, were targeted, then that would be a problem and should be dealt with and investigated, but if there were only 96, the number I have heard, tea party groups, and over 200 other groups, that does not really sound like ONLY the tea party groups were targeted.

Once again I think this is being blown way out of proportion by the right simply to try and make President Obama look bad. It seems like that is the new game plan, keep on coming up with BS accusations and hope one of them actually works for them. It's getting old really fast if you ask me, and I hope the media gets tired of the "boy who cried wolf" crap that the right is playing!

They don't have a Monica so they are making a blue dress up, out of 'hole' cloth.

I used to work for someone who would take the side of the most recent person to visit his office with a concern. Then he'd turn around and take the opposite point of view if the next visitor expressed it.

Of all the political pundits/TV talking heads out there, who could be a bigger flip-flopper than Tweety?!
