they (Teabaggers) have grassroots movements in the southern states. Southern local populations tend to be more involved with local and state politics and don't really care for federal government machinations.

Howard Dean has it right that real change has to happen at the grass roots level where local and state reps can be held accountable. There is only so much pressure that can be applied to DC when it is sheltered in its own bubble.
