If they will have to steal it. . .

I'm convinced Christie is going to win here in NJ in November. He wins - it's over for 2016.

But I suspect - there are quite a few anti-The Current Democratic Party 'Liberals, Progressive, Democratic Party members" that will be okay with that.

Then they can have their bloody revolution in the streets.

I will blame them as much as the Republican party - only I'll be doing it sipping homemade wine from my mountain side home in Acri, Italy.

I have my pick of our building on the side of the mountain, his mothers home in the village (she passed two weeks ago and left it to us), a flat in Firenze, a flat in Rome - or his flat in Paris.

But what I'd really like to do is chuck them all and buy a house in Ramatuelle (outside of St. Tropez France).

I hope I'm wrong - but if the most foaming at the mouth Democratic voters (such as at DU) are hell bent on Warren/Grayson/Sanders etc. etc. in 2016 - we've lost the White House.

And I have no doubt - with the overturn of the key elements of the VRA - they've lost the House/Senate too.

I think we are spitting in the wind here.

And I'm sure that will make you happy!

None of those three can win. They can't.

And again -you've lost the black vote in America - because they (the Powers that Be) don't WANT us to vote. So it's not going to happen. The Democratic Party has lost it's 'sure' thing . . . it doesn't have us to kick around anymore and taunt with , "Well where else are you going to go?"

So you better pick someone palatable to center white independents if you want a fighting chance. And although I like those three . . . I've seen how powerful Christie is and how 'seductive' he is. I'm telling you - you've lost in 2016.

The minute he starts yelling about any ONE of those three who are currently IN Washington (insiders) -he'll bring out he knuckle dragging basement dwelling "I hate the gubmint' vote". They will come out full force for him.

And if you don't think he's running for President right this very minute - then you obviously aren't getting bombarded with his annoying 'stronger than the storm' commercials we are in NJ, NYC, Philly, CT, etc. etc.

Take care...

Reliable - At all . . . You can have your opinion. I'll have mine. He'll have his wife's opinion- i.e. ultimately say what she wants him to.

When they see him go balls to the walls and viciously attack the other folks - they'll go for him.

He's a strident anti-choice Republican. That alone is going to get their rocks off! He's also good buddies with Rove. If they can steal two G.E.'s - what makes you think they can't outright steal the South Carolina primary? *raised eyebrow*

Why so quick to think that after the Palin and Romney debacles - they are going to let Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio be on the top of the ticket? Koch Brothers love him - so does Wall Street. The guy is in like Flynn. I'm sure the Kochs are already sipping a scotch and smoking a cigar at the South Carolina primary victory in 2016 . . .

On March 4, 2009, Politico reported that Carville, Paul Begala, and Rahm Emanuel were the architects of the Democratic Party's strategy to cast conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh as the face of the Republican Party.[18] Carville was particularly critical of Limbaugh for saying he wanted Barack Obama to "fail."

Wikipedia runs Carville as pure Democrat

Carville ran Wofford's PA Senate --election defeating the Republican choice of Ronald Reagan

I would not dismiss him entirely, but I don't see the inevitable part, either.

The man has a very short fuse.

Under the heat of a presidential election, I just can't see where he does not pop off and turn people off.

Republicans will love it, but assuming Hillary, the soft middle will break to the more level headed personality.

Everywhere black people go we are going to face hatre - how is America any better than any place else? Oh - wait -

If we have a son - due to their extremely restrictive gun laws - he can't get shot if I send him down to the Gelateria for some orange pellegrino and a gelato. Or he can - but there the shooter is guilty and has to prove he is innocent.

I love when white folks in America point out how racist other countries are - when their own country's face is filthy as a used condom.

My Tips for blacks who wants to visit Italy
I' m a half black Brazilian man who lived in Italy for about 2 years and having faced Italian racism during my stay I want to give some advice for black people who want to visit Italy.

1) If you are going to visit an artistic city like Rome, Florence, Venice always stay in the touristic area where there are tourists from all over the world and you will not have any problem.

2) Avoid the small towns and villages in the north of Italy, they are full of racists and the locals are very rude and inhospitable with black or brown people.

3) If you are a black man NEVER talk to an Italian woman not even if you just want to ask some informations because Italians can think that you are trying to approach her and Italians are against interracial black/white couples.

4) Avoid the crowded Italian pubs in the night because there you can easily found groups of fascist Italians who hate and molest black people and you can be in an unpleasant situation.

Italy is an interesting country but racism against black and brown people people is very high so you must be careful. If you will follow my advices nothing bad should happen to you and you can have a quiet stay in Italy.

and I yield to you as a black woman who grew up in this country----it certainly has not always been easy for you----so please judge my comments as those of a life long Democrat -----always voted that way----supported Obama from the 2004 Boston speech-----didn't know him before that -----and I see a part of the solution as using the word Acceptance ---rather than tolerance-----it does make me sick to see the revelry on the Right Wing over the recent case in Florida--------but please remember these old white dudes are are a dying breed ----my best to you and good luck to you

And I'm well traveled - and I'm a home owner there. I'll make my stand.

Italy is no different than Germany where as a mixed race black kid in the 1970's - we had to fear for our lives with all of those old Nazis running around.

BTW- My husband agrees with you on Northern Italians. He'll take their money and that's pretty much it. And he detests how they refuse to admit they are black and middle eastern.

Ahhh - but I've spent many hours in the kitchen with my late MIL, Zia Dora, Zia Philomena! My husband will only eat his mother's pesto recipe! Never ever go against a Calabrese Man's Mama!

Old battles between Irish Protestants and Catholics - right here in America!

My Gramfeathers was a peach - no prejudice - unless it was Irish Catholics. Or Catholics in general. But she was born out West in 1904. She changed her tune a few years before she died - in her 90's. But took - like 87 years.

when the levees were being built on the Mississippi--Irish immigrants were a big part of the labor force----now don't get offended. this is real----If an Irishman fell down into the levee he was left there to die----because on the river banks there were thousands to replace him--------however--if a black fell in---in those days they were property --and worth a lot of money----so if they fell in---the job would stop until they saved the "chattel" ----

More on the Irish in Boston----in the late 1800's signs in the store windows said INNA----Irish need not apply-------well we tricked 'em----ok don't let us work, eh---we'll go home and make babies-----how the irish won Boston--------

and today in Arizona -----Mexican families are getting quite large----soooooooo

But you brought up Hillary as an example. She was a kid when she campaigned for Goldwater. Warren was middle aged. Don't get me wrong, I like Warren just fine. I just don't believe that she's ready to run for president. She barely won her Senate seat a few months ago and had never ran for elective office before that campaign. Besides, there's a lot more to being president than just opposing Wall Street.

Forget Biden, he doesn't have even a remote shot of winning the 2016 nomination.

Hillary Clinton will be the nominee, and she'll pick someone like John Hickenlooper or Jay Nixon to be her running mate. I don't think it will be a senator or a representative.
