To adapt the prayer: God grant Reince Priebus the serenity to accept liberal media bias, the courage to change who moderates presidential debates, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Mr. Priebus's position looks all the worse since word has leaked that the Fox network might produce the series with Ms. Lane. The GOP chairman now claims that his objection is only to networks that broadcast the shows, not with the networks that produce them. Try to make sense of that distinction.
If Mr. Priebus wants to bar liberal networks from hosting debates, he can simply urge his state parties and other sponsors not to work with networks whose moderators have it out for Republicans. In the 2012 primary debates, the candidates spent far too much time discussing contraception and gay marriage, rather than the economy and foreign policy, in large part because some moderators acted as if this is all Republican voters care about.

(I did not watch most of the Republicans debates, but to say that the moderate "had it" for the Republicans is ridiculous..)

(47,953 posts)Unless the 'moderator' attacks the democratic candidate and coddles the Repub like an episode of "fox and Friends", they are liberally biassed.

(30,247 posts)Priebus has egg on his face. Is he now going to proclaim that unless Fox doesn't produce the series there won't be any Republican debates on their network? That leaves him with public access stations, HSN, QVC and the Weather Channel.
