... biochem?
... power grid?
... cyber?
... internal 'combustion'?

I have to think there are - and have been - folks already inside our borders who, for the right price, would do just about anyone's bidding. Take out a nuke plant, or any 'place of public gathering'/mass transit and ... well, it would be on, as they say.

(Trying to choose my words carefully so as not to get Agent Mike's attention, since I am just responding to a question).

Syria has allies, too.
Iran, Russia, and China among others.
Could a military exchange escalate beyond a limited US strike against Syria?
Sure it could.
Is WW III possible?
Why not?
The checks and balances of rational leaders has served us well in the past, right?
Sadly, New Zealand won't be far enough away.

missile capabilities to launch chemical attacks on US warships? You always have to worry about the use them or lose them mind set that Assad would be sitting on.

And any action taken after that will be deemed self defense.

It's why I can't accept as Constitutional the idea that a president can launch an attack without imminent hostilities against the US being in the offing. It makes no sense for only Congress' having authority to declare war if the president can initiate war and maneuvre the Congress into declaring war or letting the US be invaded.

It was no small feat to have done some of what they SAY they've done electronically.

Is this a concern?
