This week’s show

This week we had two mass shootings that was reported almost as a quasi normal event, There was an evil cut in the food stamps program that is bound to starve many of our young and poor. There was yet another irresponsible and meaningless vote to defund the Obamacare (the Affordable Care Act).

When one looks at these four events, the underlying issue becomes failed government. Why is government failing? Everyone knows government is failing most citizens but working for a select few.

In a democracy that is only possible when government of the special and moneyed interest colludes with the news media. In a Freudian slip MSNBC Chuck Todd makes that collusion very obvious this week when he implied it was not the job the media to correct or call out lies and misinformation from politicians.

Most listening to Chuck Todd came to the opposite conclusion. If not the media the who? The media has rights to precisely make it a ‘check’ on government for the governed.
