Issa and staff planning a trip to Middle East...

To see if they can dig up any more Benghazi lies..I wonder how much this trip will cost and how many mouths of poor children could be fed with this money..

This fact finding trip is absolute bullshit and Issa is a sick fucking man!!

Also, Dems were not told about it..

Issa is of Arab ethnicity though (Lebanese) so he'll probably get lucky.

2. I can't imagine it is a good idea for them to go to Benghazi, but it takes nothing from children

There is money for various committees to go on overseas trips. What is strange is that Issa's committee is not either the House Foreign Affairs committee, the Intelligence Committee or the Armed Forces Committee.

I really doubt that this group's trip - with no real background on foreign policy - could be a good idea now when Syria is in a violent civil war and their are very delicate negotiations and there are important Palestinian/Israeli negotiations going on. Not to mention, I doubt it is safe to allow them to wander around Libya.

I see why the Democrats are angry, but I really would not want to be anywhere in the Middleeast with Issa. It also is a good idea not to over react - as the Republicans did when SRFC members, Kerry and Dodd went to various Middle Eastern countries (as did Pelosi on a separate trip) - though they were actually doing their job and Kerry and Dodd even had questions from Condi Rice that they got answers for.

Like the fact that as of yesterday Issa wasn't actually going to Benghazi.

Doesn't stop us from saying that Issa is going to the Middle East, specifically Benghazi. When the truth is on your side, who needs veridicality?

He's meeting with someone in Egypt and a couple other countries were mentioned.

Some connection he can't even phone or make written public records and has to go there to meet?

Someone has got solid proof of Issa's corrupt dealings, and his trip will end up as a one-way to Beirut.

and in prison right here in the USA. I know he cheated on the recall of Gov. Grey Davis. I wish he would be investigated for it and then brought up on trial.

That's why I would like to see Issa there. Beirut's troubles are such that a pampered, nasty phony like Issa might not last long in the midst of them.
