Is it true? Is it true?

Rachel says (during segment of Ted Cruz) that next month Wendy Davis will announce she will run for governor of Texas.

But Daily Kos says she will make up her mind as to future office ambitions.

So, who is correct here? Maddow, or DK?

I'd put my dough on Maddow, but I dunno what the truth is.

I think she should run, and I think the DNC and the Dem Govs should go out of their way to really, really, REALLY HELP her.

Wendy Davis to announce gubernatorial decision Oct. 3

Source: Fort Worth Star-Telegram

After weeks of pondering which office to seek, Fort Worth Democratic state Sen. Wendy Davis will announce on Oct. 3 whether she’s running for governor.

“There’s one question I’ve gotten quite often in the past few months,” Davis wrote in an email to supporters. “What’s next?

“On Oct. 3, I’ll be answering that question,” she wrote. “I truly appreciate all the work that you — my grassroots team — have done for me thus far. And I’m excited about what we can do together in the future.”

The question at hand is whether she will run for re-election in Senate District 10 or for governor.

usually this is the time when potential candidates for higher office are running around the state lining up support with local party leaders, getting promises for endorsements, raising money...

That she will announce next week means she knows which way the wind is blowing, and I'm guessing it's blowing her way or she'd hold off a little longer.

But, who knows but her and her team?

Your sentence in the OP makes more sense when the word 'IF' is inserted.

For example...

"... next month Wendy Davis will announce IF she will run for governor of Texas..."

Doubt there would be such organizing outside her state senate district if she weren't running for Gov. She's be crazy not to. The Republicans in Texas are cruising for a bruising from the women voters in this state. Ann Richards was the last Democratic Governor of Texas. It's fitting that Wendy Davis be the next.

They make Ted Cruz look even more like a pathetic grifter...and they have the solid, Hispanic Democratic party background to do so.
