Are We headed for a constitutional crisis?

ACA was passed by both houses and approved by the Supreme court. The congress who passed the laws was elected fair and square the people of the US. This is how our democracy works. People seemed to be happy with this as Obama won by a wide margin and far more Democrats voted than republicans. although gerrymandering allowed many of these republicans hold their seats.

If the republicans do not like the law, let them return to congress and make some legislative laws that they like and vote on them. If they pass, the laws will be changed. If not, the people have spoken.

Instead, we have a minority of the republican party thinking they can ignore the laws of the and make the president and the congress do what they want by putting a hold on funding and budget approvals. This is banana republic politics and cannot be allowed to continue. If the president caves on this, we will see it happen again and again.

This is not how we govern. Write your congressman and let them know that you are against this craziness.

The Democratic members of both houses need to start each day with censure motions against any Republicans who did anything particularly egregious on the previous day. (Working while drunk, as they did recently, would be a fine example.). Eventually, maybe the daily shaming will start to sink into the public's awareness. Obviously, the recipients of such attention are beyond shame.
If nothing else, the entertainment value would be enormous!
