The GOP are making their base angry on how Obama has 'used the bin laden issue politically' so that

the base or independants will not cede any territory (beliefs) to Obama on the bin laden issue. Anger does that. It prepares you to fight for territory without any sober second thoughts. So when they make their base angry, they make them stubborn and closed to any new idea or feeling (gratitude towards Obama for getting bin Laden).

Obama saved the republicans from Osama. If Obama had not got Osama the republicans would still be cowering in their rooms afraid that Osama was gonna come into their rooms and do things to their precious bodies.

Obama saved them from Osama. And they don't appreciate the President of the US saving them from Osama? What idiots!!

He owns it! They are just pissed (teapublicans) because they can't use bin laden to scare people.
