Elections matter. That's the point and they need to hit Willard & the GOP hard with this:

Elections matter:

"I do not concur in the words of Barack Obama in a plan to enter an ally of ours... I don't think those kinds of comments help in this effort to draw more friends to our effort,"

Elections matter.

Obama said what he would do. Willard, McCain and the others disagreed and mocked Obama for his words. AM radio and Fox, along with most GOPers did the same. Rudy was the only one I recall who agreed with Obama because well, we know how Rudy is.

If this risky mission failed, they would have tied it to Obama 24/7. Just like Carter - who by the way made a risky call. Unfortunately it didn't work, but he made the call.

So Romney is right to say that Carter would have made the call, but the key is that Romney would not have made the call.

Period. This isn't political posturing. This is a CLEAR distinction between candidates.

Choosing one over the other means different focus, different policies, different decisions in the White House.

Bush failed to get OBL and then abandoned trying. Once again, fact.

I hope this is only the beginning of the administration and its allies in making this critical distinction.
