The new demagoguery: McAuliffe supprts gender based abortion

There was a woman guest on Chris Matthews. Was talking about how women could be persuaded to vote Republicans. And she made that claim about McAuliffe. Even Matthews had to slow to a sputter. Where was this coming form?

Well, she said, McAuliffe supports the Democratic party platform that does not put any restriction on abortion. Hence, if you want to have an abortion because you are pregnant with your fifth boy and you really, really want a girl, you will terminate the pregnancy.

These people never even bother to ask the Question why would a women need/want an abortion.

Now they pretend to know the answer.

No one can know that except for the woman making the decision.

All she can bring to the discussion are lame talking points from the fake "pro-life" movement.

Unlike Cucinelli, McAuliffe wants to expand Medicaid in Virginia. Clearly he was the more pro-life candidate. At least objectively, which is the only thing that counts.

Which undermines her dim witted argument.

South Korea use to have a rather large problem with that and they do have a law that abortions can't be done based on gender (though I'm sure it happens, but not as often as it used to). When they do a sonogram the doctor is not technically allowed to tell you the sex of the child. However, they can use phrases like "that is a handsome baby" or "that baby will be pretty".

Here it was a problem because of the whole male linage issue where having a boy was important. Thankfully the generation of people that are my age (40's) don't buy into that stuff anymore. My wife's family didn't either, they had three daughters.
