This is my 2 cents on Chris Christie and the fact that he says 'I didn't know'

Ok say Christie is telling the truth that he didn't know. I could almost buy that IF the lane closings for GWB was only for one day.

I would have to think that the Mayor and other locals probably complained loudly about the dangerous backups caused by the lane closures yet Christie did absolutely NOTHING for 4 days. You'd think by the 2nd day he'd be like 'Hey what's up with the traffic in Fort Lee and can someone show me this traffic study' blah blah blah. Yet he remained silent and claims he was 'unaware'

And to me that makes him dangerous for the office of President. Does that mean that Christie will ignore dangerous situations simply because they are in a part of the country that doesn't really support him?

Would he allow another Katrina-like Hurricane to wipe out New Orleans again should the next governor of Louisiana be a Democrat? If an Earthquake hit California would he ignore it simple because Dems run that state?

Obama has shown that when it comes to emergencies he puts party politics aside. Obama treated victims of the Tornadoes in red states like Oklahoma and Missouri in the same manner as he treated Blue state victims of Sandy and Irene.

nail down a real accurate cost but that had to be expensive. Think about everyone burning time and money sitting in traffic or taking an alternate route. Delivery guys being held up and running into overtime, all kinds of costs. And Christie is a good guy to have in charge?

...because he damn well SHOULD have known within two days. On that basis he should be disqualified to be governor, as well as president.

And of course, if he DID know he's complicit in a likely crime, or at the very least, lazy, and again, derelict of duty.

Whatever it is, he has no business holding any office above sewer rat--which would be perfect for him.

Nothing gets a governor fired faster than a road not plowed or a bridge backed up for days. He asked no questions when traffic is backed up for days. Yeah right.

He simply joked and tried to dismiss the issue instead of saying something like, "I doubt that's the case but I'll investigate and find out what happened to clear up the matter."

Not the normal action of a responsible leader who is informed that something fishy is going on under his watch.
