Yesterday I wrote about the danger of demonizing Muslims. I cited remarks from several Republican politicians who argued a couple of years ago that no mosque should be allowed near the site of the 9/11 attack in New York.

Jindals speech, which asserted a religious right to practice anti-gay policies in private business activity, echoed the argument made 14 years ago by Bob Jones University in defense of its policy against interracial dating. The resemblance is uncanny. You can read the whole article here.

They're pretty wacky, to sum up their beliefs, they think that liberalism and egalitarianism are the "Revolution" (Evil) and they are the "Counter-Revolution" (Good). The Revolution, according to them, has undermined and destroyed the authority of the Church and Elites of society, and they think they should be restored with the poor people being put back in their place and told the best thing they should be able to do is rise to a position where they serve the Elites.
