Medical providers in states opting out of the expansion of Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) may soon experience increased financial trouble, even as the mostly Republican governors continue to spurn federal funding for people lacking health insurance.

This is serious business, and those legislators who voted to kill Medicaid expansion in their states should be ready to justify their actions to citizens who may no longer have access to a medical facility, which would be rather difficult as no justification exists.
