And even if Bob and Wayne let me face palm them it still wouldn't be enough. I think they should both just come out of the closet. Wayne could write a book or something and Bob, well I don't know what a guy in his position does, maybe apologize and become an activist and help Wayne write that book.

It gets harder and harder to make stuff up--and then if you do, the publishers tell you "No one would believe that." Maybe it would help to show them the articles.

.... I know how hard it is to try to get something published. What you should do is print up stories like that and submit it, then when they say no one would believe it, hand the newspaper articles over to them...

Guv might have pushed the relationship with Johnnie Williams, just to get her off his back. He obviously had no interest in pushing the guy's ridiculous supplements, so he must have been useful some other way, such as soothing and attending his lonely wife and keeping her happy. This crap just writes itself.

Is that the same as an adult sex store that sells porno videos and sex toys?
Is it a college Fraternity house?
How about a mens' athletic dressing room?
Is a private home that hosts singles sex parties a bawdy place?
How about the balcony of an adult theatre? Is that bawdy?

I lived in San Francisco for 11 years. So I think I know something about reading the signs of a gay guy still in the closet. And Bob McDonnell sure gives off more than a few signs, starting with his extreme public homophobia. Straight men don't give much thought to homosexuality, and aren't afraid if a guy comes on to them. Straight guys just simply state that they aren't interested in gay sex.

I feel sorry for Bob MacDonnell. That he was stuck in such an unhappy marriage. That his desire for money, power, prestige were empty pursuits, destined ultimately to be spiritually unfulfilling. That his mind and heart were filled with delusional perceptions. That his self-righteous arrogance led to harming millions of people in his state.

Most importantly, I feel sorry for him because I don't think that he has learned anything about compassion and humility.

McGreevey's real offense was appointing his lover to a six figure job for which he was not remotely qualified. The gay thing was just icing on the cake but it did tend to take the focus off his abuse of power.

Whose to say it wouldn't work for Bob McDonnell.

...as for the priest, the Catholic church should nominate him for sainthood. At least he wasn't molesting kids--his sex partner was a mature man who, if I understand the article correctly, the good father paid for services rendered. As long as it was the priest's own money and he wasn't robbing the collection plate to pay for his--er--leisure activities it's not a big deal.

You just gotta love the hypocrisy.
