U.S. Senate Candidate Joni Ernst (IA.) Faces Charges of Conflict of Interest
U.S. Senate Candidate Joni Ernst (IA.) was Montgomery County auditor from 2004 to 2011. In 2009 and 2010, Ernst’s father’s company, Culver Construction, was awarded six county contracts worth over $215,000. This is clearly a conflict of interest. Although she didn't deny the facts, she is claiming that this is a “frivolous attempt to prop up a desperate campaign.”
