Chuck Todd Exemplifies Political Press' Utter Intellectual, Moral Bankruptcy

http://www.bluevirginia.us/diary/12344/chuck-todd-exemplifies-political-press-utter-intellectual-moral-bankruptcy

So let's get this straight: if you won't reveal who you voted for in a past presidential election, then you have "disqualified" yourself with voters, according to Meet the Press host Chuck Todd (about Kentucky Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes. Now, let's list a few things you CAN say, according to the idiot inside-the-Beltway political press, and still be qualified for election.

Can just take his toys and go home right now, because soon, none of the neighborhood kids will want to play with the obnoxious know-it-all.

He might be. Not everyone onEarth is a Democratic supporter....sadly. He just might be a GOP supporter.

There were actually lots of us there weighing in!
Surprisingly enough, he was responding to some of the posts!
Things were NOT looking good for old Chuckie.
If I had a Facebook page that was getting trashed as bad as his is, I would delete the entire thing and take it down.

Dismissed his critics as snark. Well, one could have guessed. There were a very few who just name-called and they don't count. But there was plenty of objection. There was also a surprising amount of attaboys. Go figure, I guess.

I posted this back in late September. Seems like a good time to haul it back out again.

Sounds like we need to start a PR offensive via Facebook etc. and elsewhere online. Plus emails and a few paper letters too. Paul Begala once said "100 paper letters can change the course of a newsroom." That's because more weight is STILL given, I think, to the hard-copy correspondence. If somebody takes the trouble to write and send an actual letter, that's usually read as a louder voice from the viewership or listenership. I may do it myself.

Here's what I wrote on one MSNBC link http://www.msnbc.com/speak-out :

I think you should start over with "Meet the Press." Chuck Todd does NOT make it. WHY did you move from Slants-GOP with David Gregory to STILL-Slants-GOP with Chuck Todd? WHEN ARE WE LIBERALS GOING TO GET RESPECT - AND PRIORITY with you folks? If I want republi-CON talking heads on Sunday (and I don't!), there are legions of alternatives. WHERE 'S MINE???????????????
