GOOD for Grimes and GOOD for Davis: BOTH tough women not backing down.

Grimes didn't answer the "who did you vote for" question because she knew it was "gotcha" politics and wasn't going to give McTURTLE an endless soundbite to use in attack ads. Simple as that, and she's standing by it. This is bullshit "gotcha" politics and she's not biting.
So piss on Chuck Toad and corporate media. This SHIT should never have been asked in the first place. 2008 and 2012 are NOT what her race is about. It's about KENTUCKY in 2014. SHAME on those assholes for asking that question of ANYONE.

Davis's "wheelchair" ad is FINE. Where was the right wing and media "outrage" about the Willie Horton ad, and the attacks ads on Max Cleland, and TONS of others??? This is all typical corporate media BULLSHIT.

GOOD for these gals sticking to their guns and telling the corporate media to go eat a shit sandwich. Nice to see some SPINE.

And it looks worse than if she had just said she voted for Obama. It's not a gotcha question IMO. And Wendy Davis did a good job with her ad, I hope they both win.

2. It was a fair question

She doesnt have to answer it if she doesnt want to but I think she will end up ducking the question all month. If ahe would have answered it it would have blown over in a day. Now it will probably be in the news for the next two weeks.

And a big "fuck you" to the DSCC for wimping out when they could have showed some testicular fortitude for a damned change.

Let's see some serious GOTV and shove victory right up the party's quisling kazoos!

Go Grimes!

Go Davis!

7. Answering the Turtle's question does not alter her qualifications but is a desperate attempt

by the Turtle to link her to Obama, he has been trying to link her ever since she announced she was running.

The wheelchair ad was to show Greg Abbott got his settlement and he has tried since to prevent others from getting decent settlements. Just as the Republicans in Texas have prevented the expansion of Medicaid and set up a Health Care Exchange in Texas, they have their health insurance and to hell with the rest of the state.

8. I've been putting in a lot of hours on Wendy Davis' campaign

Pretty much whenever they call & since we are getting close to the end, its been intense.
Knowing what a corrupt sleaze Abbot is & how the Tx GOP operates from a good ol boy mentality, only empowers women like Davis all the more.
Honestly I get home some days & am exhausted. But my experience with Wendy's campaign this year is one of thee most rewarding & empowering things i've done in the last 10 years.
What an amazing group of people i have met.
We are optimistic, of course, anxious & well know what difficulties we are up against..but win or not..we are all stronger & smarter now than when we began.

Wendy Davis is a most remarkable & inspiring woman.

could possibly be construed as impolite... No matter how true it may be.
Don't you ever read the media rulebook?

They've both done fantastic, considering they both came of nowhere (relatively speaking) and got a lot national attention, and considering how many Republican dollars have been spent against them.

I wish them very well.
