The Republicans plan to win this time against President Obama 2016

Hubby and I have been laughing our heads off at how the republicans are running against President Obama for 2016.

Yep.. that is what they are doing..

All this talk from Giuliani is not some off the cuff comment .. and not from any of the people who are backing him.. It is a well thought out political stunt to run against the President.

Before you take my head off, about the President not running in 2016.. Personally on a physical level you are right, he is not running..but they want to make sure our nominees will not run on his successes.

You see there is a LOT of success for the next Democratic canidate to run on .. From health care to the expanding job markets.. deficits going down at the fastest rate in 50 years, rescues of major industries.. the largest investment in the environment ever.. on and on and on..

This scares the republicans to death. That and they got their noses out of joint at the State of the Union, when they were reminded about who won the last two Presidential elections.

So the only thing they can do now, is try and pile on the President and try and get the next Democratic nominee to do a Gore and distance themselves from success..

So yes in a very real sense they are running against President Obama in 2016.

But between you and me.. it did not work in 2008, or 2012.. Not a very smart strategy guys on the right..

I just hope our nominee does not do what Al Gore did and run away from all that has been accomplished.

George Bush had nothing for McCain to run on.. And then McCain shot himself in his foot by picking Palin.. that was just sad.. and the right had nothing but try to do personal smears and lies.. did not work..
