Double standard? FAUX says FU

I just don't get it.

Brian Williams is suspended for 6 months, or more, for a few inaccurate statements. I get that. The company took a responsible measure to stand up for honesty in reporting.

So, pretty much the same thing happens to O'Reilly and FAUX does nothing. What makes this worse is that his viewership has gone up.
Are people really this sick to support this type of behavior? And what does this say about FAUX management? It says FU America, Ratings are more important that the truth. F*ck the truth. Yep, they're fair and unbalanced, again.

It seems now a days that more people are interested in the gossip and the gossip surrounding the gossip before the real truth. WTF is wrong with this picture?

It's the scandal that has brought them to Fox News. They aren't watching Fox News because they trust Fox News: They are watching Fox News because they want to form their own opinion on Fox News.

All those new viewers mean trouble: Fox News is geared towards an audience that lives in an information-bubble, an isolated audience that watches Fox News because here it gets told what it already knew to be true. (If you don't tell them what they know to be true, you are part of the liberal mainstream-media.)
But those new viewers don't have this loyalty (and this indoctrinated distrust) and they DO compare the things they see on Fox News with other sources.

Those new viewers will see the odd disconnect of Fox News from reality. And they will wonder.

Those new viewers mean trouble for Fox News in the long term.
