Republicans Unite in Opposition to Clinton

“The deluge of derision this weekend from Republicans responding to Hillary Clinton’s presidential launch is the start of a highly coordinated effort by national GOP leaders and conservative groups to effectively begin the general-election campaign against the likely Democratic nominee,” the Washington Post reports.

“Acknowledging Clinton’s political strength, many Republican officials and strategists on the right are determined to get a head start on attacking her record as secretary of state and highlighting what they see as her vulnerabilities, almost ignoring her lesser-known rivals. The early onslaught — a battery of opposition research, snarky videos and even an upcoming feature film — reflects Republicans’ desire to use a common opponent to unite their ranks, which have fractured as the GOP has stumbled in the past two presidential elections.”

They were going after her with pick axes when Bill ran for his first term.

From the moment he got elected, they have gone after her knowing she had presidential aspirations.

By the end of the 90s, they had thrown so much crap at her they and their media whore counterparts deemed her "the most divisive person in the world" which was the first broad sweeping negative frame for excusing their acting like unhinged jackasses toward someone - a frame that today even democrats find themselves blaming BHO for republicans acting like unhinged jackasses toward him.

Its THEIR fault, don't you know?

Lets not fool ourselves.

This isn't about Hillary.

They destroyed Howard Dean over a moment of genuine emotion.
They tarred a smart and decent man as an arrogant liar while framing a halfwit some of privilege as a "guy you'd like to have a beer with!"
They slandered a man who actually served in battle, honorably and wounded as weak while promoting a guy who froze up while reading my pet goat before retreating to a mountain cave as TOUGH AND RESILIENT!

7 years ago, Hillary was the most hated person on the planet to them up until BHO became the presumptive democratic nominee for 2008, she then was a republican darling and BHO has taken the bullets up until now.

It isn't her, it is not about her ...

One of the reasons I supported BHO then was, while I expected them to be assholes, he is such a decent guy, and was newer to the scene, I thought it might be a bit less worse with him than her.

Somehow despite expecting them to be run of the mill partisan jackasses, I was naive about just how callous and unhinged they were.

It could be Hill or it could be someone else, but whoever is the democratic nominee is going to face the same unreal level of broad sweeping slander.
