The 75-year-old Nevada Democrat who announced last month that he will not seek re-election next year, ending a three-decade congressional career was asked who he believes will be the likely 2016 GOP nominee.
I dont really care, Reid said in an interview with CNBC. I think theyre all losers.
When asked about Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnells opposition to President Barack Obamas energy plan, Reid, the former Senate majority leader, called McConnell, the current majority leader, a lump of coal.

(53,661 posts)Harry has held a lot back and put 'the fear of God' into many of his colleagues with what he knows.
Now he is going to retire, after working in immense physical pain for some years from injuries, and scarcely a day off and not taking a break.
His quiet and polite demeanour, I believe, masked more power than many realized.
Unfortunately, the propaganda people bought into has given us no one to replace him with.
I'm looking forward to more choice words from Sen. Reid. : )
Yeah, Schumer (if he's the next majority leader) is a BIG step down.
Thank you, Harry Reid.
