Hillary!

What is it about some - men, mostly - who declares "Hillary!" and consider themselves wise and that their audience should get their meaning?

Rush the Limp started it back in the 90s. And then Jon Meacham, while editor of the late Newsweek was a guest on Jon Stewart and this is what he declared as he entered the stage.

And now the pathetic Bill Kristol on ABC Sunday show. They were talking about Nebraska voting to abolish the death penalty, they even interviewed someone from the Nebraska House (or was it the Senate, Nebraska being a unicameral body?). And then Kristol declared: what about Hilary? Didn't her husband... thankfully he was shut off.

What does her husband have to do with anything that she says or think or plan?

Have not spent much time here lately so missed this recent permutation. Quite impressive.

It's just as fair to ask if Bill Clinton would have any influence over a president Hillary Clinton. And my response to that would be, are you shitting me? Of course he would. The man is not just any presidential spouse, he's a former president himself for chrissakes, and besides, he's a congenital meddler, he won't be able to keep his nose out of anything.

And she won't be able to prevent him even if she wanted to. She simply is no match for the man's charisma and personality.

I don't think this is a good thing. Others may disagree, but IMO there is no doubt that he will have a lot to do with what she does.

Daddy went to Kuwait but was careful not to continue to Iraq, even though some advisers thought so.

So Junior decided to do better and the whole world is paying for this.

I certainly hope that Hillary, if she is the president, will not be driven by such thoughts.

Hillary just wants to be the first woman president, but honestly other than her wanting to be the first woman president. I have no idea why else she wants the job. I would Rather Elizabeth Warren were running.
