"But the Republican presidential primaries have ended with an undeniable void on the right — one that the former Alaska governor and 2008 veep pick is trying to once again fill."

The Republican primaries have ended up with the entire party on the right. Romney tacked further and further right, and hasn't come back an inch yet. All the rest of the "last great hopes of the far right" were spouting, right from the go, shit that would have got them laughed out of previous elections before they could spell 'PAC'.

The right has complete control of the party. The only thing that Palin has that others don't is unthinking adoration, from a bunch of deluded morons who either think she was winking at them personally in the Vice-Presidential debate, or think that she's a 'hockey mom' just like them, wilfully ignoring the evidence of grift and millions thrown at her by TV channels to keep the gullible marks watching. What she fills is the 'personality cult' void. Only Mad Uncle Ron competes for that, and he turns off many Republicans for a variety of reasons.

give Cherokee Purple a try....named that one in 1990....or Lucky Cross - developed it from an accidental cross (involving Brandywine) in the early 2000s. Brandywine flavor in a yellow/red swirled tomato!

Just look at a nice blue mold cheese: Funghi and lactic-acid bacteria living in harmony next to each other.
I think this interspecies-fraternization is an internationalist plot by the UN to further the implementation of a one-world-government. So DON'T YOU DARE comparing Palin to cheese.

or maintaining her existing *ability* to be able to issue fatwas for/against certain candidates to her teabagging supporters and having them continue to go along with them?

If she's "maturing", then the next logical step for her would be to run for POTUS- somehow I have the feeling she won't ever run, however.
