I am a Democrat and I will support and vote for the nominee of the Democratic Party...

Whoever wins the nomination, I will vote for and support. Anyone who will not support the nominee can kiss my Democratic ass and get the heck out of my party.

Thank you again for allowing me to jump briefly back on my soapbox.

*Disclaimer.....I am not telling you who to vote for in the primaries....but the nominee deserves all our support when the GE arrives.

This country could not survive under another Republican administration at this time in history. Maybe...when they come to their senses and get rid of the whackos, everything will settle down but I won't see it in my lifetime.

Apathy cannot be a word in any Democrat's vocabulary in 2016. Vote like you've never voted before!

around here than you might think. Unfortunately, it's the height of the intra-party squabble season.

I'm with you.

Then why are they here? This is the Democratic Underground. We support Democratic candidates and to not do so does nothing but support the Republican camp.

I swore up and down that I would never--ever--spend a penny in Walmart. Then I got an out-of-town IT position that involved constant travel between six public school districts that frequently required phone contact with a central office at a moment's notice. (My employer refused to supply one.)

This was in a little central-Ohio city dominated by the only store that sold Tracfones. I think I managed to get in and out of there without exhaling.

I guess my point is that people are prone to bluster, but will hold their noses if they have to. The alternative will be to shoot themselves in the foot. I honestly don't think that many folks around here will opt for the latter.

Come what may, there'll be a lot of people holding their noses a bit more than a year from now, IMHO. I'll applaud them all.

So it's not as simple or clear cut as you might hope.
