Tax cuts, (more) deregulation, and privatization of just about everything except for the military are pretty much the only palatable "solutions" to them.

The numbers might point that way but we have a long way to go. I am glad for positive signs though

They'll make a brief stand on the payroll tax cuts, but then they'll realize they have no hope of ousting Obama so they'll start looking out for themselves. It will be every man for themselves as they desperately try to hold onto the House and gain even 1 seat in the Senate.

Furthermore, Gingrich or Romney can expect very little support from their fellow GOP as they will be busy trying to save their own skin.

or that the recovery would have been better if Obama followed their "recommendations" (which were to do nothing). Neither of those arguments will go over very well if the recovery steadily continues.
